I am a professional artist, illustrator & Graphic Designer who lives in the hills of Umina Beach with my husband and cat which we share with a wide assortment of wild birds & other native animals that we love. I find this environment both beautiful and inspiring.
My professional background is as an artist, starting with degrees in both Fine Arts & Graphic Design/Visual Design Communication (University of Western Sydney)
My initial Art career was as a graphic Designer.
Before coming to the Central Coast in 2020 I created, ran & taught at my own successful business, Nilly’s Art School, for around ten years in Sydney’s West. Clients were from a mix of diverse ethnic backgrounds & ages, from novices to advanced, from young kids to university students to mature adults.
Media I am proficient in include: -Pencil, Pastel, Acrylic, Water Colour, Gouache, Oils, Dot Ink & Ceramic & Porcelain Painting. My favourites are Pastels & Oils.
My experience also includes: -

• Book illustration
• Designing, organizing & holding exhibitions such as for my students at Holroyd Council as well as exhibitions of my own work.
• My hobbies include sewing (such as patchwork quilts & child’s dresses), pottery & interior design as well as having been an active member at Umina Beach CWA doing Art Workshops as well as assisting with fund raising activities such as producing crafts.
